The latest data published by Dealroom.co and London & Partners confirms London’s place as the top European destination for stateside VC investors, who participated in nearly 400 rounds for startups based in the capital in 2021.
For a number of years US tech firms have been investing heavily in London as they look to expand and as the value of UK’s tech ecosystem passes $1T in 2022, the city is now growing faster than the Bay Area. With early stage investors Plug and Play Tech Center arriving with the promise of investment for 30 UK early-stage startups (UKTN | UK Tech News) it’s clear that the UK tech is also attracting cash at the most crucial stage of growth in order for this ecosystem to continue to thrive.
