FinTech Startup News:

Fintech startup N26 has announced they’ll expand “the bank of the future” to the UK in 2018. Read.

Digital challenger bank Monzo has raised an additional £71m and is now valued at £280m. Read.

And in even more challenger bank news, Revolut is applying for a banking license. They’re expecting to receive one in early 2018. Read.

London based social media scheduling tool ContentCal has raised £470,000 in their latest funding round. Read. 

AI based energy saving tool Verv has raised £1,234,500 to explain energy bills to consumers, while also analysing the energy efficiency of each appliance and suggesting more eco-friendly options. Read.

Startup Scene

Skyscanner has acquired London based AI social startup Twizoo to add relevant social content to their reviews. Read. 

Replacement startup law-firm Seedlegals has launched a ‘Friends and Family’  product, including tutorials, assistance and help complete first-round funding without further legal assistance. Read.
