It’s come to that time of the year where we take the opportunity to recap, look to the future, give a big “thank you” to all our clients and candidates and wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
2016 has been an amazing year for the Talent Group. Even though it has been a year of unexpected results and uncertainty (at least politically!), its also been a year of innovation, creativity and progress for the industries we serve. As such we’ve grown our market offering accordingly to help provide our clients a comprehensive 360 of talent solutions and our candidates a wealth of opportunities. We have inducted two new companies into the group; Talentedge Creative & Media, our creative arm supplying the best creative talent and Qurated Network, which focuses on technology enabled business transformation. More to come in 2017 I’m sure!
Aside from our talent solutions, this year we have strived to deliver more relevant industry insights for all of our customers, as well as practical recruitment advice from our consultants to our online communities. We partnered with ICAEW (CASSL) to deliver a number of insightful events and learning opportunities for up & coming industry bods. We also partnered with the IAA on events such as our interactive panel session in Cannes, which looked at critical issue impacting the advertising industry.
Finally we continued our series of events for senior management within the media and technology sectors, with notable sessions on M&A, new market entrants and managing creativity within these industries. Thank you to all the expert, panelists involved. We hope our successes and partnerships will continue to grow in the new year as we host a number of insightful events and panels.
Looking forward to 2017 we are seeing mixed growth predictions for the different markets we serve in the light of Brexit and Trump. However, so far demand for our services has remained buoyant with growth throughout the course of 2016 (hopefully this is a good sign for the broader economy!). We hope this trend continues into 2017, notwithstanding the additional challenges that key European elections may bring.
